Hello! Let me introduce myself.

I am Livie G, a singer, songwriter, DJ, and music teacher with a Bachelor in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado with a dual emphasis in vocal and piano performance. For more than six years, I have professionally taught music to students in grades K to 12 as well as private students of all ages, helping them grow as performers, songwriters, and confident musicians.

I’ve taught everything from AP Music Theory and AP Music History to piano, choir, jazz, strings, and one-on-one vocal and piano lessons. I believe in giving students a strong foundation in technique while nurturing their unique style and love for music. Because I believe music isn’t just learned, it’s experienced.

The pictures you see you’ll see below is just a glimpse of the many amazing students I’ve had the privilege to work with. Each one with their own story, style, and sound. Watching them grow has been the most rewarding part of what I do.

Performance has always been at the heart of my career. I have sung in operas, choirs, jazz ensembles, and as a featured soloist more times than I can count. I was awarded Outstanding Vocalist at the Colorado Jazz Festival, where I was judged by members of Take 5, Straight No Chaser, and Groove for Thought. I studied jazz vocals under Amy Murphy as well as Carrie and Juliet Dollyson, deepening my ability to perform across genres including jazz, pop, and classical.

Over the past four years, I have performed throughout Colorado as both a vocalist and DJ. I have provided music for weddings, private events, and high-profile clients, including the Denver Broncos and contestants from The Bachelorette. My stage experience also includes my early appearance on American Idol at age 15 and most recently reaching the final round of the national Singing Sergeants auditions.

Since moving to Orlando, Florida, I’ve been diving into the vibrant local music scene and collaborating with musicians from around the world. I work full time as a session vocalist and songwriter, lending my voice to projects across a wide range of genres while also releasing my own music. At the same time, I continue to nurture my passion for teaching, sharing my knowledge and love for music with students who are ready to grow, create, and discover their own sound.
